PureFolio Terms of Service
Effective date: 5 September 2026
Last updated: 5 September 2026
1. Agreement to These Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of PureFolio, including the websites, applications, portfolio-analysis features, signals, historical records, tools, data and related services made available through purefolio.app and my.purefolio.app (collectively, the “Service”).
By accessing or using PureFolio, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree to them, do not use the Service.
2. What PureFolio Does
PureFolio is a portfolio analytics and investment decision-support application.
The Service may allow users to record or import portfolio holdings, review market information, analyse portfolio positions, view technical and analytical indicators, receive algorithmically generated portfolio actions, track historical recommendations, record investment decisions or trades, and evaluate subsequent outcomes.
Features, algorithms, data sources, calculations, classifications, and availability may change over time.
3. Important Investment Disclaimer
PureFolio is an analytical and decision-support tool. It does not execute trades for you and is not your broker, fiduciary, tax adviser, legal adviser, or personal financial adviser.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, information and outputs provided through PureFolio are not intended to constitute a solicitation, offer, guarantee, or instruction to buy, sell, hold, or otherwise transact in any security or financial instrument.
Labels and outputs such as ADD, AVG DOWN, HOLD, TRIM, EXIT, conviction scores, suggested quantities, priority rankings, portfolio weights, risk levels, market-condition assessments, historical outcomes, or similar information are algorithmic analytical outputs.
They must not be treated as guaranteed investment recommendations or predictions.
You remain solely responsible for determining whether any investment or transaction is appropriate for you.
4. Investment Risk
Investing and trading involve risk, including the possible loss of some or all invested capital.
Market prices may change rapidly and may be affected by economic events, company-specific developments, liquidity, market sentiment, regulatory changes, geopolitical events, technical factors, and circumstances PureFolio cannot predict.
Past performance, historical signals, back-tested results, favourable historical outcomes, conviction scores, or previous recommendation accuracy do not guarantee future performance.
You should independently verify relevant information and obtain appropriately qualified professional advice where needed before making financial decisions.
5. Market Data and Accuracy
PureFolio relies in part on information obtained from third-party, public, market, exchange, broker, news, or other data sources.
Information may be delayed, unavailable, incorrect, incomplete, adjusted retrospectively, or inconsistent between providers.
PureFolio does not guarantee that prices, quantities, technical indicators, portfolio values, corporate-action information, news, calculations, or other market information are real-time, complete, or error-free.
Before executing a transaction, you should verify critical information using your broker, exchange, or another authoritative source.
6. Algorithmic Outputs
PureFolio's analytical engine may use rules, calculations, technical indicators, portfolio characteristics, historical data, market conditions, user settings, or other inputs to produce outputs.
Algorithms cannot account for every circumstance relevant to an individual investor.
A technically valid calculation can still produce a poor investment outcome.
The absence of a warning, alert, EXIT signal, or other action does not mean an investment is safe.
Likewise, the presence of an ADD, AVG DOWN, TRIM, EXIT, or other signal does not mean that taking that action will be profitable.
7. No Trade Execution
Unless PureFolio expressly introduces a separately disclosed transaction-execution service in the future, PureFolio does not place securities orders on your behalf.
Any trade you make occurs separately through your broker or other financial-service provider.
A trade recorded within PureFolio may be a record of an action you took elsewhere and should not be interpreted as confirmation that PureFolio executed that transaction.
8. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your PureFolio account and the devices and authentication methods used to access it.
You must provide accurate information where reasonably required and must not knowingly allow unauthorised persons to use your account.
You should notify PureFolio promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
Authentication may be provided through third-party services such as Clerk and Google.
Your use of those authentication methods may also be subject to the applicable provider's terms.
9. Portfolio Information You Provide
You are responsible for the accuracy of holdings, quantities, purchase prices, broker information, trades, investment horizons, and other information you enter, upload, import, or otherwise provide.
Incorrect input data may result in incorrect portfolio values, signals, quantities, recommendations, performance calculations, or historical results.
You should review imported or calculated portfolio information before relying on it.
10. Third-Party Services
PureFolio may interact with, reference, obtain information from, or link to third-party services, including market-data providers, brokers, exchanges, authentication providers, news services, and other information sources.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, PureFolio does not control or endorse these third parties and is not responsible for their availability, accuracy, policies, security, or actions.
Names and trademarks belonging to third parties remain the property of their respective owners.
11. Permitted Use
You may use PureFolio for lawful personal or authorised purposes consistent with the intended operation of the Service.
You may not attempt to bypass authentication or security measures, gain unauthorised access to accounts or systems, interfere with the Service, introduce malicious software, scrape or systematically extract protected Service content without permission, reverse engineer protected components except where legally permitted, abuse third-party integrations, or use PureFolio for unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive purposes.
12. Intellectual Property
PureFolio and its original software, interface, branding, designs, algorithms, documentation, text, graphics, and other original materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
These Terms do not transfer ownership of PureFolio intellectual property to you.
Market data, news, trademarks, company names, and other third-party content may be owned by their respective providers.
13. Service Availability
PureFolio is provided on an evolving basis.
We may add, modify, limit, suspend, replace, or discontinue features, algorithms, data sources, integrations, or portions of the Service.
The Service may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, software errors, infrastructure issues, third-party outages, market-data interruptions, security events, or circumstances outside our control.
Continuous or uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed.
14. Experimental and Beta Features
Some PureFolio functionality may be experimental, beta, preview, or under active development.
Such features may change substantially, generate unexpected results, contain errors, or be withdrawn.
You should apply additional caution before relying on experimental analytical features for financial decisions.
15. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PureFolio is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
We do not warrant that the Service will always be accurate, complete, profitable, uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or suitable for any particular investment objective.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PureFolio and those involved in operating the Service will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or similar losses arising from use of or inability to use the Service.
This includes, where legally permitted, investment losses, trading losses, lost profits, lost opportunities, data loss, or losses resulting from market-data inaccuracies, delayed information, algorithmic outputs, third-party services, or user input errors.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law.
17. Suspension or Termination
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to PureFolio where reasonably necessary because of security risk, unlawful activity, misuse, material breach of these Terms, technical requirements, or discontinuation of the Service.
You may stop using PureFolio at any time.
Requests concerning deletion of personal data are governed by the PureFolio Privacy Policy and applicable law.
18. Privacy
Your use of PureFolio is also governed by our Privacy Policy:
https://www.purefolio.app/privacy
The Privacy Policy explains how information associated with your account and use of PureFolio is handled.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as PureFolio develops or as legal, regulatory, operational, or technical requirements change.
When material changes are made, the “Last updated” date will be revised and additional notice may be provided where appropriate.
20. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without prejudice to any mandatory rights available to users under applicable law.
Disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of courts of competent jurisdiction in India unless applicable law requires otherwise.
